Jazzie B, born Trevor Beresford Romeo on November 26, 1963, is a British musician, DJ, and record producer, best known as the founder of the influential soul and dance music group Soul II Soul. Emerging from London in the late 1980s, Jazzie B played a pivotal role in the development of the British R&B and acid jazz scenes, blending elements of reggae, funk, hip-hop, and soul. Notable works include Soul II Soul's debut album, "Club Classics Vol. One" (1989), which featured hit singles like "Back to Life (However Do You Want Me)" and "Keep on Movin'."
